During Initial Consultation to Hemorrhoid Treatment Center
What should I expect during my initial visit to Hemorrhoid center?
Your first visit will include 4 separate steps. Here is a breakdown:
Step 1Consultation
During this step you will provide the doctor with pertinent medical information, family history, medications you are currently taking, etc. This will help the doctor in his assessment of risk factors and probable causes of your hemorrhoid problem. The doctor also wants and needs to know your hemorrhoid history – your symptoms, how long you have suffered what related problems you have had, and how you have treated for them in the past.
Step 2
Examination
The doctor will perform a physical examination to evaluate the severity of your hemorrhoid condition. The anorectal examination will include checking for fissures, polyps, fistulae, abscesses, and cancer which can mimic hemorrhoid symptoms. The physical exam is essential because it provides us with an accurate diagnosis that helps us to plan the correct course of treatment.
Step 3
Results
With your background information taken and rectal examination complete the doctor will provide you with his professional diagnosis and discuss what treatment he feels will be best way to treat your disease. If the doctor has detected treatable hemorrhoids, then a hemorrhoids treatment plan will be discussed.
Step 4
Initial Hemorrhoids Treatment
After you and your doctor reach an agreement the initial treatment can begin. If the hemorrhoids treatment plan includes IRC, your hemorrhoids can be treated quickly with no anesthesia, preparation or activity restrictions.
